Wow, I actually found that it was quite easy to present myself in German. My conversation with that woman on the bench really boosted my confidence. And what I had told her came to me really easily today!

Have you already approached someone to practice that little dialogue with? What did you think? If you haven’t already, see if you can do it today! Even if it’s not in person, but in front of a screen, even if it is in writing. I promise getting some real-life practice will really pay off! If you cannot do it today, commit to doing it by the end of the week. And then let me and Juliane know how it went! 😀

Here are the suggestions on how to find someone to practice with again:

·        Ask a German-speaking friend or acquaintance.

·        Sign up for one of the “Sprachcafé” sessions on German to Go.

·        Schedule a session with a teacher on Italki or a similar platform.

·        Approach a stranger.

·        Sign up for the Tandem app and try this in writing first.
