Have you already listened to some of the interviews in the course? I listened to all the videos of people presenting themselves today. At first, it felt quite discouraging, because I didn’t really understand anything…

But then, I listened again a second and a third time and paid closer attention, and I was actually able to catch a known word here and there! That’s ok, because after all, they didn’t adapt their speaking to beginners, it’s all completely natural and authentic native speaker talk. And we are just about at the end of week 3 - not in level B2 yet! 😉

So, it’ll still take a while until we can understand everything, but we’ll get there! My plan is to come back to these interviews after finishing level A2 and to see how much my listening comprehension has improved. I think it’s great that we already get to experience how the language is actually used in real life! How about you?
